In May of 2017,  I was inducted into the Tau Sigma National Honor Society for Transfer Students at Rutgers University-Newark. Tau Sigma is a national honor society designed specifically to recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement for transfer students.  Candidacy for membership into the Rutgers University-Newark Epsilon Beta Chapter of Tau Sigma is granted to students who have transferred into the Newark College of Arts and Sciences, University College-Newark, or Rutgers Business School-Newark and achieved a grade point average of a 3.5 or higher during their first semester at the university.
