NABJ 2023 Salute to Excellence Awards Nominee

In August 2023 I attended the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Conference in Birmingham, Alabama. I was among reporters nominated for the Salute to Excellence Awards sports category for my story on the challenges pf Black figure skaters finding tights to match their skin tone.
