Newark College Arts and Sciences Dean's Scholarship

In November of 2018, I was awarded the Newark College Arts and Sciences Dean's Scholarship for the 2018 to 2019 school year. The scholarship criteria is based on a combination of factors including: academic merit, financial need, leadership, and community and volunteer service. In addition, I attended a Scholars Workshop where I wrote a personal thank-you letter to my donor.

In May 2019, I attended the Scholarship Recognition Dinner, where I had the opportunity to mingle with the donors and network with other students. At this special occasion, my work was displayed throughout the evening on large overhead screens, and I was orally recognized for my work as a content producer for the Office of Communications.
