On May 8th, 2019, I was awarded the Excellence in Journalism Award certificate. Distributed at the School of Arts and Sciences Annual Awards Banquet, the award is given to one qualifying senior pursuing a degree in Journalism and Media Studies who shows exceptional work. The winner is determined by the faculty of the Journalism Department. Along with a certificate and recognition at the SASN Annual Banquet, the student is given a $500 award.
